CES 2015: Asus Zenfone 2 Announced with 4GB RAM, 13 Megapixel Rear Camera and 4G LTE Connectivity

Asus announced a handset in Zenfone series at CES 2015. The device was announced at an event January 5 at Las Vegas. Zenfone series is one of the popular series from Asus.

Las Vegas: Asus Zenfone 2 comes with 5.5 inch display with 1280 x 1920 pixels. Type of display is IPS. It is powered by Intel Atom Z3580 64 bit processor whose clock speed is 2.3 GHz. The processor is paired with 4 GB RAM. The device will be offered with 16, 32 and 64 GB internal storage. It features 13 megapixel primary camera and 5 megapixel front facing camera. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with Asus Zen UI new version. This handset supports dual SIM. The handset supports WiFi, 4G LTE connectivity. Battery under the hood is 3000 mAh that comes with fast charge technology. The handset will be offered in black, gold, red, gray and ceramic white color option.

Asus Zenfone 2 smartphone price starts from $199 and the price is based on amount of RAM and internal storage. Asus did not reveal the details of availability of the handset.
