Samantha Looking For Biggest Hit With Vijay’s Katthi

The once successful Samantha is no longer enjoying the same status as successful heroine and she is desperate for success.

Chennai: Samantha has been in the movie industry since 2010 when she started her movie career with Em Maya Chesave in Telugu with Naga Chaitanya. The movie received good response at the box office and Samantha has been able to continue her success in Telugu & Tamil movie industries with her movies like Brundavanam, Eega, Dookudu, Seethamma Vakitlo SirimalleChettu etc.

Due to many reasons, Samantha has not been able to continue her success of late. Her successive films failed at the box office. in the current year she had only one hit Manam (of course most part of the credit for success went for Akkineni family).

In the current year, Samantha had to face failures in the form of Anjaan (Tamil & Sikander is the Telugu dubbed version with Suriya), Alludu Sreenu (with Bellamkonda Srinvias), Rabhasa (with Jr. NTR) & Autonagar Surya (with Naga Chaitanya).

Samantha shares a tricky success ratio with Naga Chaitanya. She started her movie career with this Akkineni hero and the movie (Em Maya Chesave) went on to get super hit talk. After Manam (where she acted opposite Naga Chaitanya once again), she had to face failure with Autonagar Surya with the same hero.

Despite her increased exposure in recent movies as well as other public functions like showroom openings, fans are not able to ensure success for her movies.

Despite being desperate for success, Samantha is not able to face and win competition from other south beauties like Tamanna, Shrutihasan. Both these beauties are going high as heroines as well as item song and enjoying success.

Now Samantha is having big hopes on ‘Katthi’. This Tamil movie with Tamil hero Vijay (dual roles) is the only hope in her career. The movie is being directed by super hit director AR Murugadoss. The director became famous with his many Telugu, Tamil & Hindi movies as well and he is instruments in starting Rs.100 crores club in Bollywood where his Ghazini is the first entrant.

The movie is being produced with huge budget and is making news even before its release regarding the high level of promotion and also the business. Let’s see whether Katthi will be able to bring the much awaited success to Samantha.
