Intermediate Examination for the academic year 2014-15 will be held in the old Pattern itself

Intermediate Examination for the academic year 2014-15 will be held in the old Pattern itself.

Hyderabad: For the academic year 2014-15 Intermediate examinations will be held in the old Pattern itself. Both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states had not taken any decision till now regarding some key decision such as cancellation of first year examination, Preparation of Question Papers etc. It is not possible to conduct the examination in the new pattern even if both the states take any decision to conduct the examination separately. Any decision that would be taken by both the states can be implemented only from the next academic year.

Board of Intermediate Education is going to conduct intermediate examination in the month of March 2015. Candidates who were studying intermediate examination in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states need to apply for the examination before 10th October 2014 without late fee and with the late fee of Rs.100 Candidates can apply for this examination till 17th October 2014.

Last date to apply for the examination for both general and vocational courses is same i.e. 10th October 2014 without late fee and with late closing date to apply for the examination is 17th October 2014. Cost of each application is Rs.10. Candidates who were writing this examination can have the application form from regional inspection offices in every district. Application can also download from the official website of Board of Intermediate Education.

If Board conducts Intermediate examination separately several problems need to be faced by the students.

25% weight age will be given to the Intermediate examination marks at the time of preparing the EAMCET ranks list. If all the candidates writes same examination paper in the intermediate examination then there will be no confusion in preparing the final rank list in the EAMCET examination. If candidates writes separate examination papers in the intermediate exam one paper may be tough and other paper may be easy then while preparing the final ranks list of the EAMCET there will be inequalities. As per the State Division Act both the states need to conduct some of the important examinations combinedly for 10 years.
