AMWAY India CEO arrested by Andhra Pradesh Police
27.05.2014: AMWAY India CEO William S Pinckney arrested by Andhra Pradesh Police. Police had taken him into custody in Gurgaon and brought to Kurnool town. At the end of 2013, a case filed against him stating that he is following unethical practices in product selling and money circulation. He was arrested under the Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act 1978 PCMCS.

27.05.2014: European Drug Report 2014: Trends and Developments Released. Report released by EMCDDA (European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction). Major highlights of the report are,
In 2012 in Europe, around 6100 overdose deaths were reported, number of deaths in 2009 was 7100 and number of deaths is 6500 in 2011.
17 million people were dying in the rest of Europe and nearly 39 Britons were dying from drug dose per million population.
IAF MIG 21 Aircraft Crashed
27.05.2014: on National Highway in Bijbehara of Anantnag district in South Kashmir IAF MIG 21 Aircraft Crashed. In this crash Pilot Squadron Leader Raghu Banshi died. Co-poilet was taken to Srinagar Hospital. It was crashed in the open field due to this there is no property loss and no person died.
First Act of New Cabinet is Setting up SIT to dig black Money

Marital law imposed in Thailand by the army before 20th May 2014.These incidents were happening due to refuse of step down of care taken government which is headed by Prime Minister Niwattumrong Boonsongpaisan. After step down of Yingluck Shinawatra Prime Minister Government due to abuse of power, Constitutional Court of Thailand ordered to take care of the government by appointing Niwattumrong Boonsongpaisan as caretaker Prime Minister.
