Book a unit of Suzuki ‘Let’s’ Scooter for Rs. 1000 – Tackles with Hero Maestro, Yamaha Ray - z, Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter

Suzuki has revealed the brand new ‘Let’s’ scooter earlier this year and there is no information about the scooter since then. The model was to be launched at the Delhi Auto Expo 2014 which was held at Greater Noida few months ago but the manufacturer has revealed the model prior to the event. Now, Suzuki Motor Cycle India Ltd has started taking booking of the 110 CC automatic scooter and a customer can book one unit by paying just Rs. 1000 in advance.

The new Let’s Scooter is around 1810 mm long, 660 mm wide and 1120 mm tall whereas the wheel base of the model is around 1250 mm only. The kerb weight of the model is just 98 kilograms only and thus there would be no difficulty for female buyers at all. Suzuki is offering tubeless tyres with the Let’s scooter and both self start as well as kick start would be available. The front wheel gets equipped with telescopic coil spring suspension system whereas the rear end gets swing arm type suspension with coil springs. The capacity of the fuel tank in the upcoming Let’s scooter is around 5.2 litres only.

Let’s Scooter is powered with a 112.8 CC air cooled four stroke single cylinder SOHC engine with 2 valves. The engine is capable of producing around 8.7 hp power at the peak along with 9 Nm of torque. Engine comes accompanied with a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) gear box. Suzuki has assured that Let’s Scooter is capable of delivering around 63 kmpl mileage on a whole which is absolutely impressive. The demand for automated scooters has grown enormously from past few quarters and almost all leading automotive giants in the Indian market have brought forward their potential scooter models already.

Suzuki is likely to make the new Let’s Scooter available for sale in all dealerships across the country by the end of this May. The scooter is going to be offered in five vibrant colours - Blue, Black, Red, Silver and White respectively. Suzuki has not yet revealed the pricing details of the upcoming Let’s Automated scooter so far but we could expect the scooter to get priced around Rs. 43k mostly.
