Our take: Huawei has always priced its devices at a slight premium over the counterparts. But it has a brand value that other Chinese manufacturers do not enjoy. The smartphones are good, but there’s nothing great about them. They all would have done way better than they would now with lower price tags. They are decent buys but they are nothing different from the crowd.
