Suzuki launched ‘Inazuma’ for Rs. 3.1 lakhs – GW250 to be shown at Delhi Expo and in ‘Jai Ho’ with Salman Khan

Suzuki Motorcycle India Limited has finally launched one of the most awaited two wheelers in recent times in the Indian market, the ‘Inazuma’. After getting caught a number of times prior to the official debut, Inazuma made a grand entry into the market and it is expected to give a tough fight for the other models in the >200 CC segment. The leading bollywood super star ‘Salman Khan’ is going to represent the model and the bike is going to be seen in Salman’s upcoming movie ‘Jai Ho’.

An exclusive poster has been launched today which features Salman Khan and the new Inazuma aka GW250 with a powerful bottom line ‘Coming Together, Two Super Performers’. Mr. Atul Gupta, the Executive Vice President for Suzuki Motorcycles India has stated addressing the launch “Suzuki wishes to offer an Indian rider a product at every price point and in every segment. The Inazuma is a practical 250 CC bike that expands Suzuki motorcycle portfolio into the premium segment which is showing growth potential. We believe that the Inazuma will be attractive for the youth, college students and motorcycle enthusiasts in metros”.

Inazuma (GW250) comes fitted with a 248 CC liquid cooled twin cylinder engine that is capable of generating around 26 BHP at the peak along with 24 Nm of torque. The engine is considered to the one of the finest in the segment as it features fuel injection and liquid cooling capabilities. Inazuma has unique design and the quality of making can be observed from the strong metallic chassis. Suspension is takes care by mono shock absorber at the rear and the front end comes with telescopic front forks. Suzuki claims that Inazuma is one of the quickest 250 CC bikes and its name which means ‘lightning strikes during a thunderstorm’, defines the bike’s attitude.

Some of the significant features of the model includes three spoke alloy wheels, odometer, digital LCD speedometer, analog tachometer, twin trip meter, fuel gauge reading and digital gear position indicator. Suzuki is offering the brand new Inazuma in red and black paint options and it has been priced Rs. 310121 only.
