AIIMS are a group of autonomous Public Medical Colleges of Higher Education. In 1956 it was established. AIIMS institutes are AIIMS Rishikesh, AIIMS Raipur, AIIMS Patna, AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, AIIMS Bhopal, and AIIMS New Delhi. AIIMS PhD conducted on 19th January 2014. Students who were interested to take admission to Doctoral of Philosophy program in various departments at Delhi only need to qualify for this examination for the academic year 2014.

Written test conducted for 80 marks. Paper is based on the subjects that the candidates applied for. This examination to be completed with in 90 minutes duration period. Negative marking is applicable for the wrong answers. Question paper consists of 30 lab based / Practical / Clinical based short answer questions. Along with shot answer questions paper also consists of theory based multiple choice questions. This theory based multiple choice questions will be 50. Each multiple choice questions carries 1 mark. For each wrong answer 1/3 rd negative marks will be allotted.
