Simmtronics launched five Android smartphones today and the company also officially launched a new tablet dubbed as Xpad Turbo. The tablet runs on Android operating system and can be purchased for a price of Rs. 7,999.

Pune: Simmtronics Xpad Turbo tablet supports 2G and 3G and is targeted at students and professionals, informed the Managing director of Simmtronics. Simmtronics is coming up with new smartphones and tablets at regular intervals and the present 7 inch tablet from the company named as Xpad Turbo is offered for affordable price for its decent features.

Coming to the specifications, Simmtronics Xpad Turbo sports 7 inch display and is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core processor. it also has Mali 400 MP GPU and is backed by 512 MB RAM. it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean operating system. it sports 2 megapixel primary camera and VGA front facing camera. it is provided with 4 GB of internal storage and the memory can be expanded up to 32 GB via micro SD card. it supports WiFi, Bluetooth, micro USB and 3G connectivity. The battery under the hood is 2800 mAh and the company claims that it will give 140 hours of standby time and 4 hours of internet browsing time. Recent launching of Simmtronics tablet for Indian market was Xpad Freedom which was offered for a price of Rs. 13,999. This was launched in October, 2013.
