Aqua Octa is the new handset that expands the Aqua series of Intex. Intex Aqua Octa is officially launched for Rs. 19,999. This is the first octa core smartphone in India. The handset is listed by Snapdeal for Rs. 19,999

Mumbai: Intex informed that the handset can be purchased from more than 40,000 plus retail outlets, hypermarkets, 42Intex square stores and other online retail stores. Customers have the option of choosing the handset in black and white colors.

The new phablet from Intex, Aqua Octa will be made available from January 15. The handset comes with 6 inch display. it is powered by 1.7 GHz processor and is backed by 2 GB RAM. The internal storage is 16 GB and extra storage can be added up to 32 GB via micro SD card. The handset runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. it comes with 13 megapixel primary camera and 5 megapixel front facing camera. it comes packed with 2300 mAh battery which is of low capacity when the 6 inch display is considered. With this price tag and the specifications, it is likely to compete with Micromax Canvas Turbo and Gionee Elife E6 and others. Mobile Technologies Ltd Business head Sanjay Kumar Kalirona said that Intex became the first company to launch an octa core processor powered 6 inch Android smartphone.
