MTV and Swipe tied up and announced the launching of Slash 4X tablet in India. Slash 4X comes loaded with MTV Hottie of the day and other apps. The tablet will soon be available for pre order on eBay and official website of the company. the launching price is Rs. 8,990.

New Delhi: MTV is an American based company and the company announced the launching of a new tablet dubbed as MTV-Swipe Slash 4X. this is a budget tablet that will be available for a price of Rs. 9,999. A an introductory offer, it will be available for Rs. 8,990. eBay India and the official website of the company will soon accept pre orders for the tablet, it is informed.

MTV Slash 4X is another addition to the 7 inch tablet market. The screen resolution is 1024 x 600 pixels. it is powered by quad core MediaTek processor whose clock speed is 1.3 GHz and is backed by 1 GB RAM. it is provided with only 4 GB of internal storage but comes with the facility to expand the memory up to 32 GB via micro SD card. Connectivity features of the handset include 3G. it also has voice calling abilities. The tablet runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It has two megapixel primary camera and VGA front facing camera. it comes packed with 3000 mAh battery under the hood.

Shirpal Gandhi, CEO of Swipe Telecom who tied up to MTV to launch Slash 4X in India said that the new tablet is priced affordably and it offers brilliant performance because of which it will definitely have many takers. This tablet is offered with decent specifications and price right. It will compete with the likes of Dell Venue 7, Nexus 7 2012, Simmtronics Xpad Mini and Oplus Xonpad.
