Gold color HTC One Max Launched in Taiwan

A gold color HTC One Max quietly launched in its homeland, Taiwan. The new color for HTC One Max is gold. The phablet which was introduced back in October came in only one color, silver and now it is available in three more colors, including gold.

Taipei: As of now, HTC one and HTC One Max are the only two HTC smartphones which colored in gold. The gold HTC One Max is now on sale in Taiwan. There is no word of official announcement. The change of color doesn’t bring a change of specifications.

The HTC One Max boasts of a huge 5.9 inch full HD Super LCD 3 display, 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 2 GB RAM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5.5 UI, which features HTC BlinkFeed and HTC Zoe.

Internal storage is available in 16 GB and 32 GB options, which can be enhanced further by the MicroSD slot which supports up to 64GB. The device is equipped with quad-band 2G, tri-band 3G and quad-band LTE (4G) radios. The HTC One Max is powered by a 3300 mAh Li-Po battery which provides up to 25 hours talk time on 3G. The device is also the first from HTC to support a finger print sensor on the back – just below the 4 mega pixels primary camera – which can be used to unlock the device or even to encrypt-decrypt documents. The device also sports a 2.1 MP secondary camera for video calls.

It is unclear right now if HTC will expand distribution of this new color option to other countries, but we will be hoping to hear that it will hit other areas.

However, this is not the first time the term ‘gold’ is came up with the HTC smartphones as it has already launched 18-carat gold HTC One in UK as part of the 18th anniversary of the MOBO award celebrations. There is also a 24-carat gold HTC One. Even the luxury personalized gift maker, Goldgenie is selling the pure gold and platinum HTC One smartphones at its official online store.But don’t misunderstand these gold HTC One Max devices with the pure gold devices, as it only comes with the golden color coated on the aluminum case.
