Washington: Nvidia announced the Tegra Note tablet, priced at 200$, back in September. The tablet will be customized and sold by Nvidia’s partners strategically located across the world. Nvidia has started to demonstrate the core features of the 7 inch Tegra Note on video as the first commercial models started hitting the stores. The highlight of the Tegra tablet is its fast processor, claims Nvidia. Industry experts have commented that Nvidia wanted to showcase its flagship mobile processor through the Tegra Note. The processor has not gained enough popularity as it was expected to.

The audio system of the Tegra Note tablets is said to deliver the widest frequency range than any tablet currently available in the market. Nvidia also claims that Tegra’s camera is equipped with the world’s first mobile computational photography architecture. This architecture enables the camera to capture effects like Tap-to-track automatic tracking.

Nvidia also released a video on Tegra Note showcasing DirectStylus, a passive stylus technology, which Nvidia claims to work better than an expensive active stylus currently available in market. This latest stylus gadget detects pressure levels and the shape of the stylus tip, thus offering ease of access to mobile doodlers. However, not all manufacturers will be including DirectStylus into their customized tablet models.

UK retailer Dixons has already released a tablet based on the Tegra Note which is called Advent Vega Tegra Note. There will be more variants released by other manufacturers in the coming days with prices around 200$.
