Audi A8 Facelift 2014 spotted in Mumbai – Matrix LED headlamps seen without camo, Debut may not too far
The German luxury car making giant, Audi has already unveiled the brand new A8 2014 in the global market but the Indian launch is still pending. The global debut of the model was done at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show which was held about two months ago. Though the former edition of the model has been received extremely well and it was also listed among the ‘Best in Class’ models, Audi has opted for unveiling the facelift edition.
The 2014 A8 is going to be offered with a set of distinct engine options in the Indian market just like the global market. The base variant is going to be fitted with a 3.0 litre TDI diesel engine that is capable of generating more than 254 bhp power at the peak along with 580 Nm of torque. The higher end diesle variant of the model is going to be fitted with a 4.2 litre TDI engine that is capable of boosting 380 bhp of power at the peak very comfortably along with 850 Nm of torque. As per the information, the respective breed is capable of attaining 100 kmph speed from rest within just 4.7 seconds only.
The petrol variant gets powered with a 3.0 litre TFSI engine that can generate more than 305 bhp at the peak along with 440 NM of torque. All varinats of the brand new Audi A8 are going to be Quattro powered and all are goignto be all wheel drive models basically. An 8 speed tip tronic automatic transmisison gera box is going to be the only choice for the buyers and it is not a bad idea actually as the respective transmission system is one of the most reputed in recent times. The most significant feature of the upcoming modle which made the model stood as one of the hot topics in recent times are the Matrix LED head lamps.
Prior to the official debut ahead, a test mule of the upcoming A8 facelift has been spotted on Mumbai roads without wearing any camouflage. It sinifes that the Indian launch of the brand new Audi A8 Facelift is going to be very sooner.
