Hyundai Grand i10 AT launched, priced Rs. 5.64 lakhs – 5.92 lakhs – Grand i10 bookings crossed 21700 already
Hyundai Motors has unveiled the most awaited version of the i10 series in the Indian market aiming towards taking the sales to peak by the end of this year. The recently unveiled Grand i10 turned out to be a huge success for the manufacturer and more than 20k units have been booked within the first two months from the launch. The new Grand i10 Automatic is going to be offered in two trims namely Asta and Sportz.
Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, the Senior Vice President for the Sales and Marketing, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. Has stated in connection with the launch of the Grand i10 automatic “We have launched the Grand in September this year and it has been received extremely well. We have conducted many product clinics and due to positive customer feedback the automatic transmission in Grand is introduced. The Grand Automatic Transmission further improves our value proposition offering smooth and effortless driving for customers. This will enhance the modern, Sporty, and progressive styling of Hyundai brand in compact segment”.
Under the hood, the same 1.2 litre four cylinder Kappa engine is offered with the petrol edition of the brand new Grand i10 Automatic Transmission. The engine is capable of generating around 82 bhp of power at the peak along with 115 Nm of torque and it comes accompanied with a 4 speed automatic transmission gear box. As per the information, the new Automatic Grand promises mileage of around 16.7 kmpl.

Hyundai has experienced a slight decay in the sales of i10 hatch back after launching the Grand i10 and the decay about a massive 70 % on a whole. Around 21700 units of Grand i10 Manual Transmission have already been sold in the Indian market. Hyundai is offering the Grand i10 Automatic Asta for Rs. 5.92 lakhs only where as the Sportz trim is offered for Rs. 5.64 lakhs only.
