Nokia is planning to launch the Lumia 525 soon and the device will go on sale for around Rs 10,000. It will get the much needed upgrade in the RAM department as it will now be upgraded to 1GB and that is expected to make it hold its ground against the Android devices.

Nokia is a Finland based mobile phone giant that has been manufacturing some of the best handsets in the market today. It is known for its product quality and functionality. Nokia’s Lumia series has been immensely popular all across the world. We have heard that a new addition to the Lumia series, Nokia Lumia 525, is soon going to enter the market. Though, no specific launch date has been revealed so far. However, the complete specifications and features of this device are now out. Let us have a look at what the Lumia 525 is going to be like:

Built: The dimensions of this handset are 4.72 x 2.52 x 0.39 inches and it weighs about 124 grams.

Display: The Nokia Lumia 525 will sport a capacitive IPS WVGA LCD touch display of 4 inches that will provide a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Its screen is of hardened glass and is supersensitive to glove and finger nail use as well.

Processor: This device will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual core processor of 1 Giga Hertz.

Memory: It offers a RAM of 1 GB and an inbuilt storage capacity of 8GB. This device also offers up to 64 GB expandable memory with the help of a micro SD card. It also provides 7 GB free storage on SkyDrive.

Camera: The Lumia 525 comes with a primary camera of 5 mega pixels that enables you to record 720p HD videos.

Our Take: The Nokia Lumia 525 appears to have some pretty decent features. However, a dual core processor and mediocre battery may push it down the line of premium smartphone choices. No word is out about the price of this device as well.
