Maruti Suzuki Alto ‘musiK Edition’ unveiled – JVC MP3 player with 2 speakers, Bluetooth and USB support

India’s leading car maker Maruti Suzuki has unveiled a brand new limited edition variant of the all time favorite, Alto. Alto is one of the most sold models in the Indian hatch back segment but the sale volume seems to be slowed down a bit in recent times due to tough competition from the rival models. In order to boost up the sales again in this festival season, Maruti has unveiled the brand new ‘musiK Edition’ of the Alto hatch back.

Alto music edition is not much different from the base variant of the model and most of the features are same in both models. Under the hood, the new music Edition Alto comes fitted with a 1.0 liter 3 cylinder K Series engine that is capable of generating around 68 PS of power at the peak. A number of cosmetic changes along with the addition of some exclusive accessories made the new music Edition Alto and there is nothing more. The performance specs of the limited edition variant will be as same as that of former edition variant.

Maruti has the habit of launching limited edition variants whenever there is decay in sales of a particular model. Last year, Maruti has launched the ‘Knightracer’ edition of the Alto hatch back which was not as successful as it was expected. The k10 knightracer edition of the Alto was also made by adding some accessories with some attractive cosmetic changes on the outer body. As per the information, the new music Edition Alto will have these exclusive features

  • Exclusive seat covers
  • Ambient lightning
  • Mud flaps
  • Exclusive graphics on the outer body
  • A JVC MP3 player with Bluetooth support
  • Steering cover
  • Alto K10 musiK decal
  • Universal Mats
  • Rear Spoiler
  • Two 4 inch speakers

We may get the limited edition of all trims of the Alto hatch back (LXi, VXi). The pricing details of the new Alto K10 musiK Edition have not been revealed yet but we may expect the price to be slightly more than that of the base variant.
