Micromax Next Flagship Phone Canvas 5 Coming This November?
Micromax will most likely be coming with its next flagship phone Canvas 5 in November. Micromax Canvas series is most popular in India. The upcoming smartphone will come with LTE and 4G capabilities. It may come with a processor that has 2 GHz clock speed and also with 2 GB RAM.
Mumbai: Micromax is rumored to be coming up with its next flagship device soon. The alleged new handset from Micromax may be dubbed as Canvas 5, says the rumors. The new handset is expected to come up in November this year.
Micromax Canvas series is very popular in India. The handsets in the Canvas series include Canvas A100, A110, A116 and Canvas 4 which is also known as Canvas A210. The last mobile was priced high and thus there were not many takers for the handset. The company also launched its first phablet in Canvas series recently.
Micromax is yet to announce anything about its next flagship smartphone. Everyone is waiting for the announcement and it is likely that the next big thing from Micromax will be the Canvas 5. Since the pricing of the smartphones are very crucial for the success of any handset in the Indian market, Micromax should price their upcoming smartphone right and does not make the mistake like over pricing as was done with A210.
With iPhone 5S, 5C already launched and Nexus 5 coming in October, this will be the great time for Micromax to launch its Canvas 5 smartphone as this is the festival season in India. Vikas Jain, business director of Micromax told earlier that they will be announcing their next flagship device in November.
There is no information available about Canvas 5 for now. But it is expected that the new flagship smartphone will come with metallic body. It was expected that Canvas 4 will come with 1280 x 1080 pixels display. Since it was not there, Canvas 5 is expected to come with this resolution. It is also likely that it will come up with 2 GHz processor and 2 GB. Canvas 5 may be launched for a price of Rs. 20,000. Though there is very little known about the upcoming device it is likely that it will feature NFC and 4G and LTE capabilities.
