Ford to reintroduce Vignale brand – Mondeo Vignale Concept to be revealed at this Frankfurt Motor Show
Ford has unveiled the first set of exclusive images of Mondeo which will be dubbed as a sub brand namely ‘Vignale’. The manufacturer has unveiled the blue oval concept about two years ago for which no further update was revealed from the manufacturer. Some cosmetic changes have been made to the Blue oval lineup and has unveiled Vignale concept car.
Some of the exclusive features of the brand new Vignale concept are

- Attractive color palette
- Chrome finishing for door handles and mirror caps
- 20 inch full alloy wheels
- Mesh grilles
- Leather trimmed steering wheel, center console and door top rolls
- Floor mats
- Thick pile carpet
- My Ford touch interface
- Wi – Fi connectivity
- Adaptive LED head lights
Ford has already used the Vignale name before and was successful with the sub brand but it was later discontinued. Ford is confident about the second revival of the brand name basing on the reputation for 65 year old Alfredo Vignale name. Mr. Martin Smith, the Executive design director for Ford, Europe has stated in connection with the new Mondeo Vignale “We wanted to bring something unique to Ford, together with world class craftsmanship and quality”.
For the European market, Ford has dubbed some of the top end luxury sedans under the sub brand Ghia. Mr. Smith has stated in connection with the Ghia brand “Ghia is an abandoned brand. It used to be not much more than a trim level, which was centered on old fashioned values of the car, with velour seats and lashings of the wood. With Vignale we are hoping to attract a younger and more forward looking customer”.
An exclusive package has been offered by Ford with the Vignale concept sedan and we may expect a wide number of exclusive features. User will be free to choose from a wide number of features that can be offered with the new Vignale and thus it can be considered as a fully customizable vehicle from Ford.
