Muscle car market of the world has been dominated by Mustang since it has been launched into the market for the first time. Mustang has greater significance in the history of United States automotive history. We have already heard that upcoming upgrade of the legendary model is going to reach Indian market and there is no doubt most of the Indian car freaks are eagerly waiting for it.

It has been 50 years since Ford has introduced the Mustang muscle car and had a bang in the global market of performance vehicles. In order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the model, Ford has announced a special edition version of the Mustang muscle car that will be dubbed into the market as Mustang 2014.5 edition. The manufacturer started developing the special edition variant few months ago and the model has almost finished the development phase. It is also informed that Ford is currently performing on road tests for the vehicle.

Indian car market has been a kid so far and we have been provided with lower end hatchbacks and other entry level sedans so far. But the outlook of the Indian automobile market has changed over past few years and our market no more remained a pre scholar. Almost all the luxury cars that were been restricted to the United States and European markets have now reached India. Indian buyers can now afford higher end premium models from globally reputed brands such as Rolls Royce, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Ferrari and etc.

But the lack of Muscle car was clearly seen in the minds of the Indian car lovers and very soon the decay is going to be filled up. The upcoming special edition of the Ford Mustang might not be available for sale in the Indian market but the base upgrade of the model that will be launched soon will reach Indian show rooms. However, Indians can now have their hands on a muscle car. The 2015 Ford Mustang is going to be powered with a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine rather than a V6 or V8. No official announcement has been made by Ford providing information about the upcoming model and thus there is very little known about the 2015 Mustang.
