IIM Ranchi is offering executive program in Business Analytics and Business Intelligence. This is a 3 month program. Candidates who are interested can send their applications online before 9th September, 2013.
Ranchi: Admissions are invited for Executive Program in Business Analytics and Business Intelligence (EPBABI) by IIM Ranchi. This program is 3 months weekend program. Classes will conduct on Saturday and Sunday in Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. This course is most suitable to those who are having analytical ability and want to start their career in the field of analytics. Persons who are working in analytical field can improve their knowledge by doing this course.
Eligibility criteria is, candidates should complete graduation or post graduation in any discipline. One of the subjects in graduation or in post graduation should be statistics, Mathematics, operations research or other quantitative subject. After joining in the course candidates will be giving home assignments and at the end of each module written test will be conducted. There are 12 modules in the course. They are Data Mining and Business Analytics, Statistics for Business, Advanced Statistics, Time series Analysis, Random Analytical Processes, Descriptive Analytics with Data Warehousing, Optimisation Analytics, Predictive Analytics, Soft Computing Techniques, Business Process Analytics, Business Analytics Applications, Hands on experience with various software’s like R, SAS, SPSS, B I Tool.
Project work should be done based on the real life data or real life problem. After the submission of the project report evaluation will be done and then Certificate of Completion will be awarded to the candidates by IIM Ranchi. Career options for the fresher’s are Cost Analyst, Analyst Global Research, Network/ Telecom Analyst, Fraud Analytics Manager, Market Research Analyst, Information Security Analyst, System Analyst.
