Priyanka Chopra Got Good Returns For Her Hard Work
Priyanka Chopra has been one of the Bollywood’s dependable heroines and her latest hit Mary Kom definitely is giving good returns for her.
Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra better known as Miss India 2000 started her movie career with south movie Thamizhan (in the year 2002). Born in Jamshedpur (Bihar), Priyanka’s upbringing happened in many parts of our country in view of the nature of duty of her parents (both her parents were in army).
Starting with Anil Sharma (for movie ‘The Hero: love story of a spy’) Priyanka worked with many successful directors. Priyanka as on date completed nearly 50 Bollywood movies (including cameo appearances) and is considered as one of the highest paid heroines of Bollywood.
Her latest hit Mary Kom brought to screen the real life of Mary Kom (boxer from North Eastern India) who brought bronze medal to India in Olympics. The movie became instant hit and many states offered tax exemption for the movie thereby attracting more and more audience for viewing the movie.
The successful movie career of Priyanka needs special mention of her hit comedy film ‘What is your raasi’. The movie had Priyanka portraying the roles of 12 girls depicting the 12 zodiac signs. In view of the excellent response the movie could get, Priyanka was also considered for Guinness World Records being the first actress to play 12 different characters in one film.
Coming to upcoming movies of Priyanka, she is presently busy with her movie Bajirao Mastani. The movie coming under direction of star director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is story of Maratha warrior Bajirao. The movie will show Bajirao (played by Ranveer) and her wife (Priyanka Chopra) and also his love live Mastani (played by Deepika Padukone).
As the lead roles (Ranveer & Deepika Padukone) are real life lovers as well, the movie is getting increased expectations and is scheduled to come before the audience on 25th December 2015.
Other interesting thing to know about movie career of Priyanka is that she is doing a show on small screen. The show will require Priyanka Chopra to stay in US for shooting purpose and for the 3 months shooting, Priyanka will be paid a whooping remuneration of Rs.25 crores. This is in addition to fully furnished villa and other benefits.
The modern family serial (coming from American TV) is story revolving the role played by Priyanka and the reports indicate that her performance in Mary Kom got her this prestigious role.
