SSC CHSL November 2014 Exam Re-scheduled on 15th February 2015: Syllabus/ Exam Venues

SSC CHSL November 2014 Exam Re-scheduled on 15th February 2015.

Delhi: Staff Selection Commission had conducted CHSL (Combined Graduate Secondary Level Examination) in the month of November 2014. At that time irregularities and malpractice had done in some of the regions. Due to these venues where the malpractice had done staff selection commission is cancelling the examination and re-conducting.

Staff selection commission had released the notification regarding this. Candidate who had written this examination on 2nd November 2014, 9th November 2014 and 16th November 2014 need to check the venues where malpractice had done and commission is going to conduct again this examination.

This re-examination will be conducted on 15th February 2015. Call letter regarding this examination will be sent to the candidates in the due course. Call letters will be available at the official website of the respective staff selection commission.

Syllabus for this examination is same as earlier examination which was released on 19th July 2014. Candidates who were writing this examination need to come to the examination on 15th February 2015 at 9.00 AM. Candidates will not be allowed to enter into the examination hall from 9.31 AM onwards. So candidates who were writing this examination need to come to the examination hall only till 9.30 AM.

This is the objective mode of examination. Total marks for this examination is 200. Each question carries one mark. Question paper is divided into 4 sections. Those sections were General Awareness, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General English.

Quantitative Aptitude: For this section candidates need to prepare for numerical Ability, Time & Distance, Time & Work, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Average, Number System, etc .General Awareness: for this section candidates need to prepare Geography and History. History includes Freedom Struggle, Economic Impact of British Rule etc.

Geography includes Geography of the Indian Subcontinent (Pakistan and Bangladesh), Interior of Earth, Oceanography, Continents, The Universe, Geography Introduction, Soils, Landforms, Transport system, Agriculture in India. General English includes preparing for Synopsis of the Test, English Language, Vocabulary, Direct and Indirect Speech, Detection of Error Part, Active and Passive Voice, Subject and Verb agreement, Cloze Test, Antonyms, Synonyms, Comprehension, and Grammar Rules.

General Intelligence: In this section candidates need to concentrate on Reasoning, Syllogism Model Questions, Problems based on Alphabets, Syllogism, Number Test, Analogy, Coding Decoding, Series, Alphabetical Order of Words, Ranking Test, Classification, Blood Relations.
