Hrithik Roshan Vs. Ranveer At Box Office
Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenzo Daro will be having tough competition at box office from Ranveer Singh’s Bajirao Mastani.
Mumbai: Hirthik Roshan has been going happy with his recent hits and blockbusters. Even his latest release Bang Bang with Katrina Kaif in the lead role is going places. The movie already crossed collections of more than Rs.200 crores since its release on 2nd October and is very much on its way to go new heights in terms of collections.
Incidentally Bang Bang faced competition at box office in the form of Haider. This Shakespeare’s movie adapted by Vishal Bharadwaj had Shahid Kapoor in the lead role. Both the movies received positive response from the critics. However, in view of the high cost of production and the higher level of promos (thus enabling increased expectations) Bang Bang is able to record more collections than its competitor.
The next movie of Hrithik Roshan is Mohenzo Daro. This historical movie is based on Indus civilization thus digging history. The director Ashutosh Gowarikar is trying his best to ensure that the picture comes out well in view of the historical backdrop and main cast of the movie Hrithik Roshan. Hrithik just enjoyed super hit Bang Bang and is expecting to repeat similar success for his next movie as well.
Another historical movie being made in Bollywood is Bajirao Mastani. This historical triangular love story (coming from Maharasthra) is having Ranveer, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. While Ranveer is portraying the role of Bajirao Peshwa and Priyanka Chopra is Bajirao’s wife in the movie. Deepika will be repeating her role as love life of Ranveer.
Bajirao Mastani is also having solid base in the sense that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is ensuring that the production of the movie is coming out in its finest form. Already some scenes with Priyanka Chopra have been filmed and the Bollywood’s glamour queen is quite excited about her role in this historical movie. As seen in Ram-Leela, the love scene between Ranveer and Deepika is going to be an added advantage to the firm.
Both the historical background are scheduled for release at the end of 2015 and hence there is every possibility that the box office will be comparing these two movies as well (as done for Bang Bang vs. Haider).
