Jammu: Jammu University is inviting applications for the admission of B.Ed Course in the distance mode. Main aim of this university to offer this course is to make teaching and learning process more effectively. This course also helps to share the experiences. For in-service teachers this course will be very helpful for the educational evaluation, to know the child Psychology and to understand school Management.
Eligibility: Candidates who were interested to do this course need to known the eligibility criteria before applying for this course. Educational qualification required to apply for this course is completion of bachelor’s degree in Forestry, or Veterinary Science or Social Science or Medicine or commerce or Science or Arts. Apart from the educational qualification candidates also need to have minimum teaching experience of 2 years. These teachers must be full time teachers in the recognised school at the primary, secondary or higher secondary levels within the territorial jurisdiction of Jammu University.
Minimum Duration of this course is 2 years. Candidates can complete this course till 5 years. Medium of instructions available for the subjects is English except for Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi. These subjects will be taught in that relevant language only.
Selection: Candidates will be selected based on the merit.
How to apply: Interested and eligible candidates need to fill the application forms in the online mode. After filling the application form candidates need to take the print out of the same for further reference. Application fee is to be paid by the candidates is Rs.550. This amount is to be paid in aby of the Jammu & Kashmir Branch through challan.
Closing date to apply for this course without late is 25th August 2014 and with the late fee of Rs.80 candidates can apply for this course till 1st September 2014. After the completion of the selection process candidates need to undergone the process of counselling.
