Samsung launched another variant of Galaxy S4 dubbed as Galaxy S4 Value Edition. It was spotted online in Netherlands with a price tag of EUR 398 which is equal to Rs. 31,700. No official announcement is made about the handset by the company.

Amsterdam: Galaxy S4 was launched in 2013 and the latest variant with the name Galaxy S4 value Edition. Major difference between the two handsets is that Value Edition will come out of the box with Android Kitkat 4.4 operating system. There is no information available on when the handset will be launched other non-European markets. Meanwhile Galaxy S4 is receiving operating system update. The plan behind launching of the one year handset which is already receiving OS update a new handset with almost same specifications is not clear.

Galaxy S4 Value Edition comes with 5 inch display and is powered by 1.9 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. It is paired with 2 GB RAM. It comes equipped with 13 megapixel primary camera 2 megapixel front facing camera. Inbuilt storage is 16 GB and those who want more memory to store their audio and video files can expand the memory via micro SD card up to 32 GB. The battery under the hood is 2600 mAh battery. Earlier, Samsung also launched value edition of Galaxy S III Mini which was launched in 2012.
