First Eliminator Match between Mumbai and Chennai Today: Preview

First eliminator match between Mumbai and Chennai team is going to be played today in IPL 7. Both the teams are in good form. Whoever is going to be the winners, cricket lovers are going to enjoy the fight between the two.

Mumbai: Mumbai team is defending champion and Chennai Super Kings won the IPL 7 title twice earlier. Eliminator match between these two equally strong teams is going to be interesting. Mumbai team is confident after qualifying for play-office with its wonderful batting in final league match. Anderson is one of the plus points for the team. He scored 95 runs in 44 balls. If he continues to play like this there will be no turning back for Mumbai team. Rohit, Rayudu are also in good form and with Hussey and Simmons proving to be good openers, one of the main problem of the team is also solved.

All rounder Pollard also is playing crucial role in the success of Mumbai team. Coming to bowling department, Malinga returned to Sri Lanka and this weakened the bowling of Mumbai. Praveen is injured and it is not known whether he will play the match or not. Harbhajan and new leg spinner Shreyas Gopal and bowling well.

On the other side, Chennai played two league matches with Mumbai and won both the matches. Chennai batting line-up is very strong with Smith, McCullum, Duplessis, Raina, Dhoni and David Hussey. Smith scored 501 runs till now in this season and McCullum scored 380 runs. Mohit Sharma claimed 18 wickets in this season and Jadeja claimed 16 wickets. Performance of spin duo Ashwin and Jadeja is going to be crucial for Chennai team.

Chennai was the first team to confirm berth for play-off in IPL 7. But it lost three matches after that. Chennai reached finals of IPL tourney twice earlier. The team is now eyeing on another title.

The first eliminator match is going to be played in Mumbai today from 8.00 pm and will be live telecasted in Sony Six and Sony Max channels.
