Lava came up with another budget smartphone for the Indian market. Dubbed as Lava Iris X1 it can be purchased for a price of Rs. 7,999. The handset was teased online prior to its official launch by the company.

Mumbai: Lava is an Indian origin company that offers affordable smartphones with interesting features. Highlight of Lava Iris X1 is its operating system. It comes loaded with Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system. It can be purchased from Tuesday from Amazon India, it is informed. The online retailer is offering free micro SD card as the launching day offer. It is offered with a flip cover and for the time being it will be available exclusively on Amazon.

Lava Iris X1 comes with 4.5 inch display and the display resolution is 480 x 854 pixels. It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad core Broadcom BCM23550 processor. The processor is paired with 1 GB RAM. It is provided with 4 GB RAM. Additional memory can be added up to 32 GB via micro SD card. There is 8 megapixel primary camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera. The battery under the hood is 1800 mAh battery. Another highlight of the handset is it supports 3G connectivity apart from the usual connectivity features.
