14.05.2014: CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) was discovered SOD (Super Oxide Dismutase). It is a unique enzyme. It will help to increase Shelf Life of Fruits and Vegetables. CSIR IHBT signed MoU with Phyto Biotech Kolkata to develop this unique enzyme. This enzyme was discovered at an altitude of over 10000 feet in the Western Himalayan Region from Potentilaastrosangunia plant which is growing under the snow cover.

14.05.2014: World Health Organisation (WHO) released a report on Health for the World’s adolescents. Report had stated that depression is the cause for disability and illness for the boys and girls aged between 10 to 19 years. Report also stated that most of the adolescent deaths were happening due to suicides, HIV +, road traffic injuries. In 2012, 1.3 million adolescents were died.
