SBI Clerk 2014 Exam: Eligibility, Exam Pattern, Selection procedure, Syllabus

Assistant in Clerical Cadre 5092 vacancies are to be filled by SBI. Basis is Entrance Test and Interview.

Hyderabad: State Bank of India had issued notification for the recruitment of vacancies as Assistant in Clerical Cadre. Number of vacancies for this post is 5092. Basis for this recruitment is performance shown in the entrance examination and interview. Candidates who were interested and eligible to apply for this examination need to apply through online mode on or before 14th June 2014.

Highest vacancies were available in Ahmadabad circle in the state of Gujarat. Number of vacancies in this area are 665. Next place was occupied by Mumbai circle in the state of Maharashtra. Number of vacancies in this area are 539. Last place was occupied by Tripura State. In this area only 2 vacancies were available.

Education qualification required to apply for this examination is Completion of graduation in any discipline from the recognised university. Candidates who were writing final year of the qualifying examination were also eligible to apply for this examination. Along with the education qualification, age criteria are also to be considered. Minimum age to apply for this examination is 20 and maximum age is 28 years. As per the government rules age relaxation is applicable. Written examination will be conducted during July/ August.

Application fee: Application fee is different for general category candidates and SC/ ST candidates. For SC/ ST / Ex Service Man /PWD Candidates application fee is Rs.100. Application fee for the general category candidates is 450.

Exam Pattern:

It is the objective mode of examination. Duration of this examination is 2 hours 15 minutes. Paper consists of 200 questions. Each section is for 40 marks.

Syllabus: For this examination candidates need to prepare for the subjects General English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Marketing & Computer and General Awareness.
