Delhi: CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) had announced the results of 12th class examination for the Chennai and Trivandrum Regions. Candidates who had written this examination can check the results at the official website of CBSE board i.e. www.cbseresults.nic.in.

After checking the results, candidates who had not passed in the examination will be given 3 chances to clear compartment exams. Candidates who had passed this examination in the year 2012 or before will be given 5 chances. This examination was written by 10, 29, 874 candidates. Out of which 4, 26,810 candidates were girls and 6, 03, 064 candidates were boys. Total number of candidates registered for this examination in this year is increased. During 2013, total number of candidates registered were 9, 42,035.
For any query candidates can make a call on the toll free number. Number provided for this purpose is 1800 11 8004. For the Northern Region results of this examination will be announced on 27th May 2014. After checking the results students can call the CBSE counselling centres for the guidance for post examination results.
Second stage of CBSE counselling started from 20th May 2014. This will continue till 10th June 2014. Counselling service will start from 8.00 AM in the morning and ends on 10.00 PM at the night. This service is providing to the candidates for the 17th consecutive year. At the tele counselling few Psychologists, trained counsellors, principals etc will be available to help the students. In total 54 experts were available to give guidance to the candidates. Counselling is the outreach programme. This programme is designed to overcome some of the common psychological problems and general queries after the declaration of 10th class and 12th class results.
