JCECE 2014 Application submission date extended from 12th April 2014 to 22nd April 2014

JCECE (Jharkhand Common Entrance Test) 2014 will be held on 27th April 2014. As per the earlier notification applications will be accepted till 12th April 2014. But now this date was extended to 22nd April 2014.

Jharkhand: JCECE (Jharkhand Common Entrance Test) 2014 will be held on 27th April 2014. This examination conducts for the admission in BHMS, forestry, B.Sc Agriculture, B. Sc Forestry and B. Tech. For this examination online applications are accepting from 22nd March 2014. As per the earlier notification applications will be accepted till 12th April 2014. But now this date was extended to 22nd April 2014. Candidates need to apply for this examination through the official website of JCECE i.e. www.jceceboard.org.

Basic eligibility to apply for this course is 10+2 from the recognised board. Minimum marks to be attained by the applied candidates in Maths, Chemistry and Physics are 45% by General Category candidates. Reserved category candidates need to obtain 40 % of the marks to apply for this examination in 10+2 examination. Age limitation is not applicable for this examination. Candidates will be selected based on the performance shown in the written test and rank obtained in the examination.

Application fee for this examination is Rs.550 for General Category candidates and for SC/ ST candidate’s application fee is Rs.275. This amount to be paid through online debit or Credit cards or through Bank Challan i.e. Bank of India Challan. Candidates who were paying the examination fee through offline mode, they need to enter the payment details on the next day after the payment of the fees.

This examination conducts at various centres namely Dumka, Hazaribagh, Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Dhanbad, and Ranchi. Duration of this examination is 3 hours. It is the objective mode of examination. Candidates who were writing this examination need to prepare themselves for the subjects such as Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. All the subjects will be given equal importance. Candidates need to answer 50 questions from each subject. Exam will be held on 27th April 2014. Results will announce in the month of May 2014.
