Maruti Suzuki Celerio measures around 3600 mm of length, 1600 mm width and 1560 mm height along with a wheel base of 2425 mm. The boot space of the Celerio hatch back is around 235 litres which is not so appreciable. Datsun’s GO hatch back measures around 3785 mm of length, 1635mm width and 1485 mm height along with a wheel base of 2450 mm. GO comes with a massive boot space of 265 litres and thus it beats Celerio when cabin space is considered. Both these models come with a maximum seating capacity of five and GO is bigger in all aspects undoubtedly.

Both Maruti Celerio and Datsun GO offers a wide number of significant features such as USB support, AUX IN support, power windows, manual AC and etc. Maruti Celerio comes equipped with audio controls mounted on the steering wheel, Bluetooth Connectivity and keyless entry which are absent in Datsun GO. Both the models are offered in petrol version only and both the models have almost the same power. Maruti Celerio comes powered with a 1.0 litre petrol engine that is capable of generating around 67.1 bhp at the peak along with 90 Nm of torque whereas Datsun Go comes powered with a 1.2 litre petrol engine that produces around 67.07 bhp at the peak along with 104 Nm of torque. Celerio is offered with a 5 speed manual transmission gear box and also with an auto manual transmission gear box which is pretty impressive. Datsun GO is offered with a 5 speed manual transmission gear box only and thus Celerio is ahead of GO clearly.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio takes on Datsun GO with a massive 23.0 kmpl ARAI certified mileage whereas Datsun GO delivers just around 20.63 kmpl. However, price is the most significant factor that decides the future of a model in the Indian market mostly. Datsun GO is offered in the price range of just Rs. 3.12 lakhs to Rs. 3.69 lakhs only whereas Maruti Suzuki is offering Celerio hatch back in the range of Rs. 3.7 lakhs to Rs. 4.7 lakhs.
