Sue Townsend, Novelist, is no more

11.04.2014: After short illness, Sue Townsend died. Her original name was Susan Lillian. She is well known for her Adrian Mole books. In 1982, her first comic series The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole was published. She achieved Thames Television Playwright Award. Sue was born in 1946 in Leicester.

Next Chief Justice of India is Justice Rajendra Mal Lodha

11.04.2014: Next Chief Justice of India is Justice Rajendra Mal Lodha. He was appointed by President of India. From 27th April 2014, he will take charges. Currently Justice P.Sathasivam is acting as Chief Justice of India. He is 40th Chief Justice of India. Lodha will be 41st Chief Justice.

New Zealand former Wicketkeeper, Gareth Hopkins, announced his retirement

11.04.2014: New Zealand former Wicketkeeper, Gareth Hopkins, announced his retirement. He spent 17 years in cricket career. He is 37 years old. Hopkins played 10 Twenty 20 Internationals, 25 ODI and 4 tests. In 158 first class matches he scored 7550 runs which include 34 half centuries and 17 centuries. Hopkins claimed 26 stumping and 435 catches.
