Audi is reported to be hurrying up for the launch of the upcoming RS3 Sport back super powered performance car. We have already spotted test mules of the model being tested on roads several times already in the past. But we are not at all familiar with the design pattern of the model so far as all the test mules spotted so far were covered with heavy camouflage. An enthusiast has spotted another test mule of the model recently and a set of images of the unit were revealed over web.

The manufacturer is likely to equip the upcoming RS3 Sport back with all the signature styling features of Audi and we could not expect many cosmetic changes in the model when compared with the former edition of S3 sport back. As we could observe from the respective spy images, the upcoming RS3 sport back is going to be a five door variant basically. The front fascia of the model is expect to come up with the traditional honey comb grille along with a brand new bumper. The wheel arches on all four sides are slightly bigger than S3 Sport back.

The rear end of the model is going to get a brand new rear bumper along with a set of twin exhaust pipes on both the sides. Audi has not revealed anything about the engine specs of the model so far and the launch schedule of the model is also not announced so far. There are many speculations about the power train of the upcoming RS3 Sport back currently but earlier, it was believed that Audi would continue with the same 2.5 litre inline turbo charged 5 cylinder engine which was used in the former edition of S3 Sport back.

There is also scope for a 2.0 litre inline four cylinder engine developed by Volkswagen and which was used in the current gen TT Quattro concept recently. The respective engine was able to produce around 414 hp at the peak along with 450 Nm of torque in the TT Quattro but we could expect the upcoming RS3 Sport back to have around 350 – 400 hp power output most probably. We could expect the official debut of the Audi RS3 Sport back at the upcoming Paris Motor Show which will be held in the month of October this year or at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show that will be held in March next year.
