LG G2 Mini with Android 4.4 Kitkat Operating System, Quad Core Processor Introduced Ahead of MWC 2014

LG announced the smaller versions of G2 smartphone ahead of Mobile World Congress 2014. LG G2 Mini will be showcased at MWC 2014. The handset will come loaded with Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system. It will be powered by quad core processor. LG did not reveal the price of the handset.

Busan: LG G2 Mini is going to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2014. LG officially announced the device today. It shares most of the specifications that were seen in LG G2 but will be a smaller device.

LG G2 Mini is going to be launched in Russia first followed by Asian countries, Latin American countries and Europe. It will be available in red, black, gold and white colors. The handset will hit the stores in March this year. It will be launched in Netherlands in April. Customers of Netherlands can purchase the device in black and white color options, it is said. There is no word about pricing of the device.

LG G2 Mini will come with 4.7 inch display and will be powered by 1.2 GHz quad core processor. The processor is backed by 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. There is also facility to expand memory via micro SD. It comes equipped with 8 megapixel primary camera and also 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. It will come packed with 2440 mAh battery. It will run on Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system. It is also likely that the handset will feature Guest Mode and other software customizations. Dual SIM variant of the device will also be released by LG.
