CUSAT CAT 2014: Exam Pattern, Eligibility Criteria, Important dates

CUSAT CAT conducts to have admission in its Graduate, Post Graduate and B.Tech Courses. Examination will be held on 26th April 2014 for PG Courses and 27th April for B.Tech & under Graduate Courses.

Kerala: Kerala CUSAT released notification for CUSAT CAT 2014 examination. CUSAT CAT conducts to have admission in its Graduate, Post Graduate and B.Tech Courses. CUSAT CAT 2014 is valid for the admission to M.Sc, B.Tech, M.Tech and 5 year B.com LLB (Hons) / 5 year BBA LLB (Hons) Courses. MBA course admission will be done based on CMAT Score.

CUSAT CAT 2014 Questions will be based on Plus Two Syllabus. Questions will be in objective mode. Number of questions for this examination will be 250. Out of these 250 questions, 125 questions will come from Mathematics and 125 questions will come from both Chemistry and Physics. Test will be held for 3 hours. Negative marking will be applicable for the wrong answers.

As per the notification released, an Eligibility criterion for undergraduate course is completion of 10+2 examination with 50% marks from recognised board of examination. Completion of Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with 45% marks from recognised university is the eligibility criteria for the Post Graduate courses.

Notification for this examination released on 15th January 2014. Online registration for this examination already started from yesterday i.e. from 20th January 2014. Candidates who are interested to write this examination have to apply through online till 20th February 2014. Application fee for CUSAT CAT 2014 examination can be paid till 25th February 2014. Application form status can be checked in the first week of March 2014. Admit card will be available between 10th April 2014 to 27th April 2014. Applied candidates need to download the forms from the official website. Examination will be held on 26th April 2014 for PG Courses and 27th April for B.Tech & under Graduate Courses.
