CEE Conducts KEAM 2014: Online Registration starts from 11th January 2014

Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) is set to conduct KEAM 2014 examination. Apply from 11th January to 4th February 2014. Examination will be held from 21st April 2014 to 24th April 2014.

Kerala: Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) is set to conduct KEAM 2014 examination. This examination conducts for the admission of Architecture, Engineering, Fisheries, Veterinary, Agriculture, Dental and Medical courses in the colleges of Kerala.

An educational criterion is different for different courses. For engineering course, candidate should pass higher secondary examination Kerala or equivalent examination with 50% marks in Physics, chemistry, Mathematics together and 50% marks in Mathematics separately. For B.Sc (Hons) Forestry, B.Sc (Hons) Agri, BFSc Courses, candidates should pass higher secondary examination Kerala or equivalent examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and biology put together and 50% marks in Biology separately. For MBBS, BSMS, BDS Courses, Candidates should pass higher secondary examination Kerala or equivalent examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and biology / Bio technology put together and 50% marks in Biology/ Bio technology separately.

Both Keralities and non Keralities can apply for this examination. In case of non keralities, they have to fulfil Non Keralite Category I. Candidates who do not come under category I Non Keralite and keralite they will be considered as Non Keralite Category II. These category II candidates need can admission only in Management quota seats and state Merit seats.

Examination will be conducted in objective mode. For Medical and Engineering Entrance examinations papers consists of 120 questions. These questions are to be answered in 150 minutes. Papers for Engineering Entrance Examination are paper I Physics and Chemistry and Paper II Mathematics. Papers for Medical Entrance Examination are Paper I Chemistry and Physics and Paper II Biology. Candidates who wish to have admission in medical & allied courses have to write papers of medical entrance examination.

For admission in B.Tech (D.Sc & Tech), B.Tech (Food Engg.), B.Tech (Agri.Engg) courses, both the papers of Entrance Examination have to write. For the admission of Veterinary courses and Agricultural courses except B.Tech (D.Sc & Tech), B.Tech (Food Engg.), B.Tech (Agri.Engg) courses candidates have to write both the papers of Medical entrance examination.

Candidates have to apply for this examination through online from 11th January to 4th February 2014 at www.cee.kerala.gov.in. Printout copy of the application form and other related documents should reach to Office of CEE before 5th February 2014. Examination will be held in various centres from 21st April 2014 to 24th April 2014.
