Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 and Nokia Lumia 1320 come with similar memory features. Lumia 1320 supports 4G and Grand 2 supports only 3G. Lumia 1320 has a better processor while Grand 2 comes with better cameras.

Mumbai: Samsung officially launched Galaxy Grand 2 in India with improved specification that its predecessor Galaxy Grand. This handset will be available in India in January, 2014. Nokia Lumia 1320 was also launched in India recently. Here is the comparison between the two smartphones.

Display: Galaxy Grand 2 comes with 5.25 inch display and Lumia 1320 comes with 6 inches display. but the display resolution is same for both the smartphones which is 720 x 1080 pixels. Pixel density of Grand 2 is 280 ppi which is more than the density of Lumia 1320 which is 245 ppi.

Operating System: Galaxy Grand 2 comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. Samsung may offer OS upgrade to Android Kitkat soon. Lumia 1320 runs on Windows 8 operating system.

Processor: Lumia 1320 comes with 1.7 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor. the process under the hood of Galaxy Grand is 1.2 GHz quad core A7 processor. Lumia 1320 has a more powerful processor.

Memory: Galaxy Grand 2 and Lumia 1320 comes with 8 GB internal storage. memory can be expanded up to 64 GB via micro SD support. The processor of Grand 2 is backed by 1.5 GB RAM and that of Lumia 1320 is combined with 1 GB ram.

Camera: Grand 2 comes with 8 megapixel primary camera while Lumia 1320 has 5 megapixel primary camera. Samsung Galaxy Grand has 1.9 megapixel secondary camera and Nokia’s handset has VGA front facing camera.

Connectivity: Basic connectivity features are same for both the handsets. Lumia 1320 supports 4G LTE data connection which is not supported by Grand 2. It only supports 3G.

Battery: There is 2600 mAh battery under the hood of Galaxy Grand 2 and a larger 3400 mAh battery under the hood of Lumia 1320.

Price of both the smartphones is not confirmed yet but both may come with affordable prices. Grand 2 is one of the best Android smartphones and the customers who love to shift to Windows platform can do so by purchasing Lumia 1320.
