Google Nexus 5 is Official: LG Nexus 5 Listed by Google Play for $349 (16 GB) and $399 (32 GB)
Much awaited Google Nexus 5 is listed on Google Play Store in the coming soon status. LG developed Nexus 5 and this is the first to be based on Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system. The handset will come with 4.95 inches display. It will be powered by quad core Snapdragon Qualcomm processor.
New York: Google Nexus 5, the much awaited device is Official nowl. The device shows up on Google Play Store. This is the first device to run on Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system. Google launched the LG Nexus 5 smartphone celebrating the fifth anniversary of Android. The device is officially launched on Google Play. The 16 GB variant is priced Rs. 28,999 in India and $349 in US. 32 GB variant of LG Nexus 5 is listed with a price tag of Rs. 32,999 or $399.
The device was in the news since a long time. Nexus 5 runs on Android 4.4 whcih brings new features. The user will be able to receive and send text messages from Hangouts. Location sharing is also supported for Android Hangouts. LG CEO said that they are proud to be a partner of Google and to develop one of the fastest Nexus phone. Senior Vice president of Android Sundar Pichai said that they are happy to collaborate with LG. This is the slimmest and fastest Nexus phone released till date.
The device is listed on the Google Play Store in the coming soon category. The release date of the handset is not yet revealed. According to information given by LG, the handset will go on sale in Asia offline in the middle of November. It is not clear whether India is one of the countries that will receive the handset.
