The next gen Ford Figo has been in news from past several months and nothing was sure about the model. A number of spy images of the model being tested in Brazil have been revealed over web simultaneously which have stimulated the craze for the model over time. Finally, Ford has revealed the next gen Figo as ‘Ka’ Concept hatch back in the Brazilian market. The manufacturer has informed the media about the launch and the model was revealed at one of production plants.

The current gen Figo is made on Ford’s Mk5 Fiesta plat form and as per the information, the new Ka concept aka Figo 2015 has also been made on the same platform. Ford has considered the grievances received from the Brazilian buyers for the former editions of the hatch back and it is informed that we may see a wide number of changes in the upcoming Ka hatch back. All the drawbacks noticed so far are going to be rectified in this upcoming edition and it is a good news for the Brazilian buyers.

A number cosmetic changes have been noticed in the new Ka concept and most of the cosmetic modifications seems to be adopted from other recent launches of the manufacturer. Ford may offer few distinct engine options with the upcoming Figo 2015 and we may expect a 1.0 litre three cylinder Eco Sport engine as one of the engine options. A new bonnet has been fitted to the Ka concept which seems just like that of other models such as Fiesta, Focus and Mondeo. A new set of wing mirrors are seen along with a new bumper on the front fascia.

The new FIgo 2015 may also get a new set of head lamps borrowed from the recently unveiled Ford Eco Sport. Engine is expected to get accompanied with a power shift dual clutch automatic transmission gear box. Additionally, we may expect some technical upgrades such as push button start/stop, SYNC infotainment system and etc. The production of the new Ka Concept hatch back will start by the middle of 2014 and there is no information about the Indian launch of the model so far.
