The recent news is that Nokia has come up with an exchange offer on its two smartphones Nokia Lumia 925 and Nokia Lumia 625. As per the exchange offer scheme, a buyer may get up to Rs. 10,000 off on Lumia 925 and up to Rs. 7,000 off on Lumia 625 if they trade in their old smartphone. If you avail this exchange offer, Lumia 925 will be available for Rs. 28,529 and Lumia 625 will be available for Rs. 14,919. However, it appears that the offer has been exaggerated to a great extent. Since the Nokia smartphones sell at MRP under this scheme rather than MOP, the discount isn’t as much as it appears to be. However, it is not first time that a mobile phone vendor is luring customers by such an exchange offer. Mobile phone vendors, under such gimmicks, hardly offer any discounts.
It will be more lucrative and a better deal for a buyer to sell his/her old smartphone separately rather than availing this offer. However, despite all things, because of such as amazing appearing exchange offer, Nokia is likely to experience tremendous increase in sales of Lumia 925 and Lumia 625 smartphones. Also, since these two smartphones are already very popular among the users and festive season is approaching, they will surely sell like hot cakes!
