Bajaj Discover 100M launched for Rs. 45996 – Power reduced to 9.3 PS and mileage increased to 84 kmpl
Bajaj Auto Limited has added one more member to the Discover family and the new member has been dubbed as the ‘Discover 100M’. With the addition of new member, the commuter segment of Discover portfolio has now 6 members 100, 100M, 100T, 125, 125T and the 125ST respectively. Bajaj has changed the 5 speed manual transmission gear box to a 4 speed gear box which will be the most significant factor for the new breed.
The new Discover 100M comes with a 102 CC 4 stroke engine that is capable of generating around 9.3 PS of power at the peak along with 9.2 Nm of torque whereas the same engine has produced 10.5 PS at the peak in recently unveiled 100T. With the reduced power and the new 4 speed manual gear box, the new 100M is going to be more fuel efficient than the other Discover variants. As per the information, the new 100 M is capable of travelling at a top speed of 95 kilometres per hour very comfortably.
