Yamaha Ray Precious Edition launched for Rs. 48605 – ‘Female Riding Training Program’ to be held by Yamaha soon

The Japanese automotive giant Yamaha, has been consistent in the two wheeler segment of the Indian market from the past two decades and Yamaha India is known for the quality of bike making and creative designs. The demand for gear less scooters has grown enormously from the past two years and Yamaha’s ‘Ray’ has been successful in its segment. To take the sale volume to new heights, the manufacturer has unveiled special edition variant of Ray.

The new ‘Ray – Precious Edition’ comes with a 113 CC air cooled 4 stroke SOHC engine that is capable of generating around 7.1 PS of power at the peak along with 8.1 Nm of torque. Mr Roy Kurian, the Vice President for Sales and Marketing division of Yamaha Motor India Sales has stated in connection with the launch of the Precious Edition Ray “The launch of the Ray Precious Edition is a clear illustration of how the market has responded to our range of scooters. These scooters have been instrumental in catapulting our sales to an all new level.

Yamaha is targeting both the female and the male buyers from the Indian market. The base variant of Ray launched initially was a female friendly version that went successful. Later, Yamaha has unveiled the powerful ‘Ray Z’ that attracted large group of male buyers and now the manufacturer has concentrated again on females. The Precious Edition version of Yamaha Ray is expected to drag the attention of female as it is more comfortable and easy to ride vehicle. As a part of promotional initiations, Yamaha is planning to conduct a ‘Riding Training Program’ for females who are willing to buy scooter or who are insisting to obtain a driving license.

The new Yamaha Ray Precious Edition Scooter has been priced Rs. 48605 only in India.
