OP Jindal Engineering and Management Scholarship (OPJEMS) scheme: Online Test on 7^th September 2013

OP Jindal Engineering and Management Scholarship online test is going to be conducted tomorrow 7^th September, 2013. Under this scheme, scholarship is given to both engineering and management students.

Mumbai: OP Jindal Engineering and Management Scholarship (OPJEMS) scheme was introduced by OP Jindal Group. This company is one of the largest companies in India. Main aim of the scheme is to provide scholarship to the merit students who are having the capability to compete the vision and values of Mr.OP Jindal and the students who are having the capacity to become leaders in entrepreneur innovations and excellence.

Under this scheme every year 100 students are getting benefited. From 40 engineering and management institutions 100 students will be selected for this scholarship. Under this scheme Rs.65000 along with merit certificate and silver medallion will be given to Engineering student. For the Management students Rs.1, 25,000 along with merit certificate and silver medal will be given. Course eligible for this scholarship under management institution are MBA and PGDBM. Based on the 2^nd year performance first 10 toppers will be considered for scholarship scheme.

First step of the selection process is Online Leadership Test. This test is scheduled on 7^th September 2013. Time duration for this test is 8 minutes. If candidate face any IT challenges during the examination invigilators will be provided paper and pencil to complete the test. Candidates who are qualified in stage I, they will enter into final stage i.e. interview. This test is scheduled from 1^st October 2013. Updated interview schedules can be seen in www.opjems.com. At four locations interviews will be conducted. Locations are Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi. Selected candidates will be awarded between 15^th November and 30^th November 2013.

Several institutions are participating for this scholarship scheme. Management institutions which are participating are IIFT Delhi, JBIMS Mumbai, Rohtak, Raipur, Ranchi, Kozhikode, IIM Calcutta, IIM Bangalore, SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, XLRI Jamshedpur, Indore, IIM Ahmadabad, IIM Luck now, Jindal Global Business School, MDI Gurgoan, and FMS Delhi. Engineering institutions participating are Delhi college of Engineering, Warangal college of Engineering, Trichy, Suratkal, Chennai College of Engineering, OPJIT Raigarh, Rourkela, Jamshedpur, Dhandbad, Kharagpur, Guwahati, Pilani, and Jaipur College of engg.
