Huawei India Webiste Listed Ascend W1 and Ascend D2: Ascend W1, Ascend D2 Coming Soon to India
Huawei India website listed two new handsets in the coming soon status. One of them is Ascend D2 which was unveiled in January this year. The other one is Ascend W1. Ascend D2 run on Android operating system and Ascend W1 is based on Windows Phone 8 operating system.
Mumbai: Huawei Ascend W1 and Ascend D2 handsets are spotted online in India. Huawei India website listed the two handsets. The two were listed under the coming soon category. Huawei Ascend D2 was unveiled at CES 2013 in January. The handset is coming soon to India. Another handset Ascend W1 was also spotted on the Huawei India website. This runs on Windows operating system.
Huawei Ascend W1 Specifications
Huawei Ascend W1 is a handset with 5 inch display. The display resolution is 480 x 800 pixels. It features OGS technology. It runs on Windows phone 8 operating system. It is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4. It is backed by 512 Mb of RAM. There is 5 megapixel rear camera with auto focus and LED flash. There is also a front facing camera of 0.3 megapixel. Internal storage of the handset is 4 GB which can be expanded up to 32 GB via micro SD card. It comes packed with 1950 mAh battery.
Huawei Ascend D2 Specifications
Huawei Ascend D2 is another handset that sports 5 inch display. The display type is full HD LCD and the display resolution is 1080 x 1920 pixels. Pixel density is 443 ppi. It is powered by 1.5 GHz quad core Hi-Silicon K3V2 processor and it is backed by 2 GB of RAM. Internal storage of the handset is 32 GB and expansion of the storage is not possible as there is no micro SD card.
Huawei Ascend D2 comes equipped with 13 megapixel camera. It is possible to shoot videos with 1080 pixel. There is also a 1.3 megapixel HD front facing camera for video calling and also for taking self portraits. The handset comes loaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It is water and dust resistant
Connectivity features of Huawei Ascend D2 are WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G. There is 3000 mAh battery under the hood. According the company, the battery is able to give 144 hours of standby.
