Seoul: Samsung is planning really big for its Music Hub app. This is the app which can combine cloud storage and music store and also online radio. Users can get all these features at one place itself. This service has been announced in 2012. Presently, Samsung’s Music Hub service is available only for Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy SIII Mobile users only.

Samsung is planning to release this service to other smart phones and tablets also. Best part of this aspect is that the company is also in plans to release this service to other products of the company like android enabled refrigerators, smart televisions, audio docks, etc. Samsung is trying to gain good hold of Android arena by releasing support to all these devices. SVP of Samsung Media Services, T J Kang has told to The Next Web that Samsung is also in plans to release this music hub app not only for its wide range of products, but also for products and electronics of other companies. Presently, this app can be downloaded and installed only in six countries. But from next year, this limit will be taken off and the users from all across the world will be able to download and install the apps. There is no fixed deadline for releasing this update and the company is still in the stages of planning.

Samsung is presently considered as King in Android domain with most of its devices running on Android. In one way, Android became popular because of utilization by one of biggest players in the industry. Samsung will be able to get good command over its competitors by having its app supported on wide range of devices, even on other devices not manufactured by Samsung. This app service is expected to become popular online music services in the likes of Spotify and Rdio.
