Lumia 620 to be Launched by Nokia in Mid-February, 2013
New Delhi: Lumia 620 is the low end mobile phone that was announced by Nokia. Nokia 620 was first unveiled in the month of December, 2012. Nokia 620 will be coming to the Indian markets in February, 2013. It is going to give tough competition for other Android phones from mobile manufacturers such as HTC and Samsung.
Nokia 620 is a low end smartphone that comes with a cute little design. The handset fits into the hands. It appears like a smaller version of Lumia 820, this also comes with an interchangeable panels made with rubber like material. These come in orange, yellow, white, green, magenta cyan, black and white.
Nokia 620 comes with a display of 3.8 inches with a display resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. This resolution is same as the Lumia 820 handset. While the display of Lumia 820 is AMOLED type, Lumia 620 does not have the AMOLED type of display. The weight of the handset is 127 grams.
Nokia620 comes with 512 MB RAM. It runs on Windows Phone 8 operating system. It is also provided with an internal memory of 8 GB and it also supports external memory up to 64 GB. It is powered by a1300 mAh battery. Coming to the multimedia features, it has a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash at the rear and a VGA camera in front.
Windows Phone 8 operating system runs smooth on Nokia Lumia 620. It is easy to handle the operating system on the small handset. It is also easy to reach the keypad buttons easily. GLONASS for GPS, Nokia Maps, Nokia Apps are few of the added features that come equipped with the handset. Nokia Lumia 620 also supports 3G, Wi-Fi and NFC. This feature is not available in most of the handsets that are available in the market for this price. There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor inside.
Nokia 620 is expected to come be launched by Nokia in the middle of February, 2013. The company however has not given the confirmation about the availability and price of the phone. There are expectations that the price will be between Rs. 17,000 and 22,000. Nokia 620 is going to be one of the cheapest handsets that run on Windows Phone 8. It supports all the applications of Microsoft for the operating system.
