Huawei Ascend G600 Smartphone Launched in India
Kolkata: Huawei is launching a smartphone – Ascend G600 in Indian market. The device from the Chinese mobile manufacturing company is already available on Snapdeal for Rs.14,990. Huawei Ascend G600 was first announced at IFA 2012.
Other devices that were announced with G600 were the Ascend G330 and Ascend U201 Pro. Ascend G330 is available in India since December, 2012. The device came with 1 GHz dual core processor, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and it was priced Rs. 10,999.
Coming to the specifications of Huawei Ascend G600, the device comes with a display of 4.5 inch qHD display with 960 x 540 resolutions. Ascend G600 runs on Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich version of operating system. The battery inside is the 1930 mAh battery and it also has 1.2 GHz dual core processor. The users can store their content such as images a in the 4 GB internal memory and if it is not sufficient, they can expand the memory via microSD card up to 32 GB. The phone has an 8 megapixel camera at rear and a VGA camera at front.
Huawei Ascend G600 is going to compete with Sony Xperia U, Samsung Galaxy S Duo and HTC One V. Samsung Galaxy S Duo has dual SIM capabilities. It is priced Rs. 14,900 and is powered by 1 GHz Cortex A5 processor. It has a display of 4 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen.
HTC One V is another handset with which Ascend G600 is going to compete. HTC One V is priced more than Ascend G600. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 16,500. It features a 3.7 inch super LCD 2 touchscreen and its display resolution is 480 x 800. The device has 1 GHz single core processor under the hook. Internal storage of the device is 4 GB and it also has 512 MB RAM. The battery inside is 1500 mAh. The operating system on which the device runs is Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich.
Sony Xperia U is also a competitor for G600. It comes with a 3.5 inch TFT touch screen and it runs on Android Gingerbread operating system. It is powered by a 1320 mAh battery and is equipped with 5 megapixel cameras. This can be purchased for a price of Rs. 13,990.
