Anna Confirmed that he is Not Going to Contest Elections nor Form a Political Party
Anna Hazare has confirmed that he is not going to form a political party nor he is not planning to contest in the elections. This has put a stop to the rumors and speculations that Anna will enter direct politics either by forming a political party or by contesting in the elections.
Anna has said that he will survive the present ongoing fast and after that he will tour the whole nation to find genuine people. If he finds someone, they will be given training and their names will be kept online. After doing scrutiny, they will be asked to contest in the elections and Anna will be supporting these candidates in the elections. He is presently doing fasting at Jantar Mantar, the venue of protest. He says that government is deceiving the people. Whether it be congress or BJP, there will not be any progress and there will be no future. They are not going to change the things. He added that he will fight for Lokpall Bill till he is alive. He is not happy to go for fasting but the betrayals of government are making him to do so.
Anna Hazare has added that he will enter politics if people want him to do so. He quickly said that he will not contest in elections but will support a political party which can be launched by someone who is committed to fight against corruption. He said that he will not enter politics but will give political alternative to the people. He will not fight in the direct elections but will support political party which would be initiated by anyone who is willing to fight against corruption. Anna’s recent protests are getting minimal response. Now is on agitation for special investigation team for probing fifteen ministers of present UPA government whom Anna team accuses of corruption.
Anna has admitted that the enthusiasm among the public for fighting against the corruption and to bring Lok Pal bill is on the verge of waning. He said that two years of protests are still not bringing change in the government, but still he hopes that the government would bring strong Lokpall bill.
